A new look to our scoreboards and a new model designation for the SB Series, now the SB8000 range of scoreboards. New brighter, wide angle LED's allow better looking scoreboards and new colours to define sections. The ability to have Real Time Clocks OR Time/Temperature displays incorporated in the timer section. 2.4Ghz portable consoles available with plug pack power supply or re-chargeable battery packs for full portability. The PRO Series is also updated with the new LED's and we now use dot matrix panels for all team names. Moving message signs can be incorporated into almost any model, especially suited to the PRO Series. Mini PC controllers with radio connections for scoring of player names, numbers, points & fouls make the job very easy. Message signs are also controlled via the mini PC. Any scoreboard can make use of the new LED colours... Red, Green, Blue, Yellow and White.

A name change to 'LEDtronix' brought about by a large company with a similar name to LEDGEN taking action to make us change our name! Those of you who know the story will be disheartened that we didn't stand up and fight for our right to use our unique name, however in the end, we decided that we could not sustain what could have been a very protracted and expensive legal battle in the Federal Court. Instead, we decided to focus our energies on maintaining and improving our core business of manufacturing scoreboards. We are still the same company and personnel. It is just a new trading/brand name that will grow in recognition around Australia!
April 2006
Ledgen has moved to larger premises to enable more streamlined production of our scoreboard range and now has room to add an imported line of moving message signs. These are excellent tools for businesses to use as advertising media. We will also be adding a select range of electronic components and LED devices to our stock lines. Keep a check on our website as we will post more information as we build up our stock.
April 2005
Ledgen have added wireless controller options to our range of scoreboards. The indoor basketball type board models SB4001R, SB4002R and SB4004R now come standard with the 27Mhz hand held controller. We can also offer the use of our full featured CC6 controller over a wireless connection using smart radio modems to eliminate the need to run data cables around the stadium from the normal full scoreboard to controller. Shot clocks can be used on these systems but must be hard wired to the scoreboard. Most GP outdoor models are operated via the 5 button remote or can be enabled with the CC6 controller and radio modems.

The General Purpose Outdoor range of scoreboards is defined and released as a series for the first time. Most models utilize aluminium or stainless steel for the outer casing, have UV stabilised unbreakable Lexan fronts and can be wireless radio controlled. All use high brightness LED's for daytime viewing and utilize a larger digit size for distance viewing. Most models also feature the programmable siren and a real time clock.
November 2004
The new PRO series is released. These PRO scoreboards are based on the very popular new 4000 series and incorporate extra features such as Team Names, Player Names, Player Points and Fouls or even Moving Message signs. Check out the range on the PRO menu.
October 2004
Release of the SB4000 range of scoreboards. These models are now equipped with a fully programmable siren card that allows the tone, volume, length and type of sound to be modified. You can set the parameters with the new CC6 (version 6.10+) control console and save a set of sounds to use for the various scoreboard functions.
All scoreboards since the middle of the 3000 range are now powder coated black. (They used to be red) and look great on any stadium wall.
